Cune (CVNE) crianza red wine, with Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja, made from Tempranillo grapes and aged according to the "crianza" process, which requires a minimum of two years' ageing with at least one in oak barrels. Cune is one of the most renowned historic wineries in Rioja, and this crianza offers a wine of deep cherry-red colour, with fresh fruit aromas combined with spicy, toasty notes from the wood, and a flavoursome palate with present but pleasant tannins. It is a younger, fresher wine than a reserva, perfect for everyday drinking with daily meals, especially meat, pasta with tomato sauces or semi-cured cheeses. Best served at 15–17°C to fully appreciate its aromas.
