Hacendado Bonito del Norte Fillets in Olive Oil

Bonito del norte (albacore tuna) fillets in olive oil, one of the most prized canned fish in Spanish cooking for its firm texture and mild flavour, far superior to regular tuna. The fillets are preserved whole in olive oil, which helps keep them juicy and enhances their flavour. The large jar format (400 grams) makes it ideal if you often cook dishes such as Russian salad, stuffed peppers, Galician empanada or simply a bonito salad. You can also enjoy it on its own with a little bread, letting the olive oil bring out all its flavour. Once opened, keep it in the fridge covered in its own oil for several days.
