Hacendado Corn Tortillas

Corn tortillas, the traditional Mexican format made with maize flour instead of wheat, with a more rustic flavour and a slightly firmer texture than wheat tortillas. They are the perfect base for tacos, tostadas or enchiladas the traditional way, and their corn flavour goes especially well with meat, chilli or guacamole fillings. The pack of 8 is a convenient size for a Mexican-style family meal. We recommend warming them lightly in a frying pan or directly over the flame, as is traditionally done, so they become more pliable and slightly toasted before filling. Store in a cool, dry place until opened.
