Small mussels in escabeche (13-18 pieces), steamed and preserved in an escabeche of oil, pimentón and vinegar. The smaller size still packs all the flavour of the escabeche into each piece, giving an intense mouthful that is easy to enjoy in one go. It is the quintessential Spanish aperitif to always keep in the pantry: no preparation needed, just open the tin and serve, with or without a little of the escabeche. Perfect with a beer or a chilled white wine, on their own with a cocktail stick or on toast. Once the tin is opened, we recommend transferring the contents to a closed container and eating within a couple of days.
